I think you are missing the setting "FPRP = True".

Yeah haven't updated the settings in game properties, they constantly change lately (some removed, others added) and unlike the rest they are easy to input after all, you just tick/untick a box. I am having a thought to update them with the next stable release due to that. 11-19-2014, 08:52 AM
May I ask: Any way to change Fullscreen Resolution via game.ini file? (Not the internal, the resolution of the monitor. I play everything in 1080p with no issues except for Pandora's Tower. If I use 720p or 768p I can reduce the slowdowns and of course, making the game more stable)

Just set pandora tower to 2x internal instead of changing the monitor resolution. 11-20-2014, 05:53 AM
Could exclusive fullscreen mode be added to the ini properties? Would be great to be able to set it on a game-per-game basis.

I have a question, can I include in the Sys ini's the settings of the iso properties (right click on game list)?
For example: Code: [OnFrame_Enabled] 11-21-2014, 11:24 AM
Define what you mean by the system inis, the default gameinis from the database? Or dolphin.ini, etc? You can edit the default gameinis but they won't work for anything related to code execution, only for settings. And they are tied to a specific dolphin rev unlike local ini files.
The settings depicted in this thread are stored on sys/gamesettings (at least in a portable setup), the settings of my post are configured from the game properties and stored in user/gamesettings. My question is if I can put these settings in the the same file of my sys/gamesettings file, so I have all the settings related of a game in one single place. Here is a related question, Anisotropic Filter (among others) doesn't register...
Also can I move [Control] to the sys/gamesettings file? Is there a thread like this for "code execution" settings? 11-21-2014, 11:12 PM

The default and local gameinis are in seperate directories for a good reason, they won't work as you please. Also anisotropic filtering does work, it is just that you can't change it on the fly while a game is running in some situations. So in case you opened the graphic settings and saw no difference that is the reason. I had noticed that in the past with Xenoblade, anisotropic wouldn't work if i changed it while ingame. Game codes don't work in the default gameinis as i said above.

What good reason, can you elaborate?
It is very painful to have so many files (with crypting filenames) and different bunch of settings that some are considered default, and some local, (whatever that means), not to say those that are outdated, deprecated or even with shared sections (SyncGPU belonging to [CORE]). "Anisotropic working" means it does work but it won't be reflected on the graphics setting? What about [Video_Hacks] EFBAccessEnable = False It isn't reflected on the graphics settings either, as the backend does... My concern is not about changing settings "on the fly", but rather reflecting them. Please, elaborate further because current behaviour is very very confusing. |
