For those Ubuntu users who are looking for an easy way to get dolphin-emu up and running you can install it from my ppa. You can add the repository and install the package with the following commands in a terminal
or you can add the repository "ppa:glennric/dolphin-emu" in the "Other Software" tab of the "Software Sources" dialog, and then install "dolphin-emu" in synaptic.
Note that the user configuration directory will be ~/.dolphin. This directory (and the needed subdirectories and files) will be automatically created for you upon the first run of the program. If you already have configuration files, then that is the place to put them. Just use "~/.dolphin" the way you would have used "./User" with the default svn setup.
Let me know if there are any problems with the build. I will try to update the repository with new svn releases once a week.
Code:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:glennric/dolphin-emu
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install dolphin-emu
