Oh, all right :/
If you happen to have it up again anytime in the future just give a shout here

Kind of upset. A scammer managed to cheat me out of an unusual and I am usually very careful. The low life scumbag motherfucker impersonated a reputable trader by using the same exact name for his ingame/profile name. Immediately contacted Steam support and gave them what information I could and reported the scammer's profiles. After scamming me and others the items were moved into a mule account, last I knew my unusual and three other unusuals were in the backpack of the mule account before both the scammer's and scammer's mule accounts were trade banned and likely frozen. Still no word since earlier today from Steam support hoping to get back my Level 38 Unusual Buckaroos with orbiting fire.
Scammer's accounts: yellow_beIt (Impersonating rabby / venga by using the same name): http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198018123225/ pony/laugingpony (Above scammers mule account the unusuals were transferred to): http://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198058502854/ Been frantically checking trading sites since earlier when I got scammed to see if the scammer was offering it for trade anywhere and to warn everyone no to follow through with the trade. This is the thread the spammer was using to lend credibility to himself, the scammer is not the op, the scammer was impersonating the op:http://www.sourceop.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&t=39124&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=120 Whole discussion between myself and another TF2 player that was also recently scammed out of an unusual in above thread. Besides the person I traded with being an impersonator/scammer, it also appears he's a ponyfag and likes dumpstep (dubstep), hope this asshole gets what's coming to him. 02-17-2012, 05:54 AM
That sucks. I need to learn to look up items that I get from drops before trading, to see if they're worth anything.
I traded a Lord Cockswain's Novelty Mutton Chops and Pipe for a Strange L'Entrenger, Rec Metal, Jag and some good other items, but it was worth more than that. If you haven't heard of it, here's a awesome site: TF2 Warehouse http://www.tf2wh.com/ You can trade with their bots for credits and buy other items with those credits. All the items you trade must be craftable though.

I know about TF2WH but it's hard to sell unusuals especially if they are lower tier and consignment is currently down on TF2WH. I still have not heard back from support or know if I am going to get my unusual back.
