Super Mario galaxy 2 yoshi' tongue on android

Hi, anyone know how to get it so yoshi can eat on Mario galaxy 2, it says point and press b but I press the button I've mapped b to and it does nothing and only occasionally does the pointer cursor change shape to show it's lined up to eat something even then it won't use yoshi' tongue

How did you do it? For me, yoshi's tongue only works for vulkan api and not for opengl

If that's the case, it's probably a problem with your graphics drivers, and there isn't much you can do about it.

Doesn't work everytime it is a bit difficult to get it to work to be fair, I'm now struggling to get it to work on the daisy's
