Launching Dolphin with the __GL_THREADED_OPTIMIZATIONS=1 environment variable can apparently help with performance, too. (for NVIDIA)
But anything that works on Windows should just work on Linux -- except D3D12, of course, but that Windows advantage will be lost once the Vulkan backend is available (and NVIDIA does not really need it; it's mostly for drivers with awful OpenGL implementations). And on the plus side, you get some improvements (hotplugging support, better Wiimote support) and some advanced features (memory watcher, pipe input)
