I just noticed this: on the last few SSE3 builds from both lectrode and vlakipn, there seems to be something wrong with the DX9 plugin. The highlights and shadows in NSMB Wii are all wrong, and the same, albeit much more discreet and only visible up close during the races, happens with the character models in Mario Kart Wii.

I tested SSE3 builds 5790, 5820 and 5832, all with this problem.

Against them, mamario's builds 5790 and 5820, which work normal.

I suspect this is another version of the same issue rodolfoosvaldobogado fixed some days ago, that inverted the order of some layers and messed up the shadows in NSMB Wii.

Edit: Oh, and I forgot this: as can be seen in the 3rd screenshot, the texture in those flags on the castle are also wrong, seems to be related.

My specs are:
Windows 7 32bit
CPU: Phenom II X2 555 @ 3,6 GHz
GPU: GeForce 9600GT, driver version 257.21

I use same builds as you, and i dont have those problems. post your game cfg mby.
However, what ive noticed, is that in latest builds, somehow i got more fps (2-3) without OpenCl enabled, which wasnt the case with 5790 (it was oposite).
Specs:
OS: Windows 8.1 Pro x64
CPU: Intel i7 4790k @ 4.4GHz
MB: ASUS Z97-Pro
VGA: ASUS Strix GeForce GTX 970
RAM: Kingston 16GB DDR3 @ 1600 MHz
HDD's: OCZ Agility 3 120GB / WD Caviar Green 1TB / Seagate Barracuda 3TB

I'm using default configs, except for Copy EFB to texture instead of RAM.
Ok, I just did an obvious test: downloaded and ran vlakipn's 5832 non SSE3 build. It shows none of the issues I pointed above.

So, to summarize:

At least here in my PC, SSE3-enhanced builds compiled by lectrode and vlakipn have these issues with the DX9 plugin. Tested 5790, 5820, 5832.

Common builds, I tested mamario's and vlakipn, are normal. Tested the same ones, 5790, 5820, 5832.

Now, don't get me wrong, guys, I am very thankful that you offer to compile Dolphin for us. I'm just pointing a potential issue.

Tried builds you stated on XP x32 x64, and no problem, i dont have W7 to try it, but Lectrode does. When he shows up ill ask him to test same builds, to see if theres an issue with compiling, or its problem at your end.

I currently cannot test how OpenCL works as I do not own a computer that supports it. I'll test the regular R5820 build and R5832 as soon as I can.

EDIT: Tested my R5820 SSE3 and Vlada's R5832 SSE3. Tested both DirectX9 and DirectX11 (DirectX11 went a good 15-20FPS faster). None of them showed any extra shadows or anything.

I COULD NOT test the OpenCL as my computer does NOT support it.

Game tested: NSMB
