So since the gc adapter is supported for a while now, anyone try gameboy link cable?

The thought just came to me right now, and since I sold my gameboy advance sp years ago, I was wondering if someone could test this for me and tell the results.
Main questions really is 1: Is the gameboy advance supported through the link cable and does it work correctly?
and 2: If it does work, can four swords be played with it? That's the main game I'm curious about if it works.
If anyone is willing to take a stab at this for me, it would be a huge help and save me a lot of time.

The gamecube adapter only supports controllers.
