I managed to compress the 11 files down into a single split archive under 500 MB. (~642MB uncompressed)
You will want to get the latest version of 7z zip for these. http://www.7-zip.org/ http://www.mediafire.com/?orhvjb9gj53931x http://www.mediafire.com/?n8r9607ztpy9v8e http://www.mediafire.com/?v53q2dgpja662lv http://www.mediafire.com/?1x0kfjuf3b9wvz4 http://www.mediafire.com/?0dza9s77lvhy4pq Once you download them all, just right click 7z>extract here and you will have your RB4E08 folder with all 2744 textures in it. Much easier than moving the content of 11 files into a folder. (some of them unzip to a different folder) I just finished beating the game for the first time in dolphin, and finally got the textures working, they are pretty nice. However there are still some missing. Do you not have higher res versions of those? What about the intro screens (pre-start menu)? Replacing those would make the game look more professional, and make it easier to see if the high res textures are turned on. 11-11-2010, 01:36 AM

Bill F good job, I will finish the final chapter and the chapter 5-4. About the intro screens, as I said before I can not because these screens are same to the pc version, I did not create any of these textures (who created the modder was named Albert G) I just rename it to run on dolphin. If someone wants to change the main menu, menu options, make that because I can not.

So the total should be 3,060 textures now?

Part 13 added. (Final Chapter Complete)
Leon Scenario complete. http://www.mediafire.com/download.php?wydwfl47r7jdfbb part 13 The new svn (r63xx) continue with the textures in this format: RB4E08_XXXXXXX_-YYYYYYY_ZZ.png. Could someone tell the devs about it. One of those revs (r6288 or r6291), broke it. I think it was the r6288 because of these two modifications. Modify /trunk/Source/Core/VideoCommon/Src/HiresTextures.cpp Modify /trunk/Source/Core/VideoCommon/Src/HiresTextures.h http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/sou...ail?r=6288 http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/sou...ail?r=6291 If someone can reverse (or solve) it. I would be very grateful.

Another issue.
There is a sound problem in RE4 Wii and GC, the echo. Sound echo in the voices etc.. (This only exists on the GameCube and the Wii, PS2 does not have an echo in the voices etc and the PC version I think it also does not) Maybe DSP HLE does not support the sound with echo yet.

(Final Chapter Complete)The change should not be revert, it changes the hash value using long int to name the texture. So, to reduce texture collide with same name. Your texture pack part5 also has some texture collide with part2. You can create a special build using the old naming method but I don't think devs will revert this... BTW, do you have issue 3432 in this game? |
