If it is in the new custom texture format, it can be used in any region version of the game, you only need to rename the folder to that of the game ID.
Intel i5-4690k (Devil's Canyon) @ 3.5 GHz (+Scythe Mugen) / Gainward GTX 1070 Phoenix (OC'd) / ASUS Z97 PRO GAMER / 16GB G.Skill DDR3-2400 CL10 TridentX / X-Fi XtremeMusic / Win10 Pro 64bit / Dell S2716DG Monitor / 3x original WiiMote+MotionPlus+Nunchuk

I believe you'll need to rename all images too.

If this texture pack is still in the old custom texture format, then yes, every single texture file needs to be changed to your version ID. There are tools out there which can do that for you in a batch, though.

Hmm I personally tried that too, renamed all files to the right GLEP08 for the PAL version, it doesn't load, so I assume all image names are different in the pal version and changing the ID tag won't be enough.

These textures inspired me to try cleaning up the inventory, but unfortunately I have no idea how it works.  The game seems to randomly generate a texture to use depending on which items are carried and where they're placed, so the only way to retexture it would be to go through all the hundreds of possible combinations and dump/replace each one.  In RE2, there was a "master" texture that had almost all of the items in it, and the inventory textures were drawn out of that.  Here, I'm not finding a texture like that, so I have no idea where the game is pulling the assets for these randomly generated textures from.

If anyone can help me figure it out, I've got a good start on the early game items.

Hi

The author of this texture pack should consider to supply the .psd files and the font name (or whatever source file-formats they are) to let us the opportunity for translate the text of the supplied images to our language...
I would like to translate all the text of this texture pack to Spanish then share it here, but no way without source image files...

Thanks for read.

hello, i have been testing a while with waifu2x upscaling i had seen impresing results, see some example pics :

" />

i think i can be possible make a repack with all textures and it will look good, but the problems start Sad   resident evil 2 -  3 use trasparent textures in low resolution for give scene realism (example the texture when jill start you will see only middle body neccesary for the scene not the whole body), then i make the texture full trasparent and i see all jill polygons like she is floating in the scene , also when the trasparent texture is upscaled  looks bad (similar when you use texture filtering enabled blur spots with lines appear), ok i was thinking "ok if i make trasparent textures again from upscaled images it will work" yes, but not really Sad ,  resident 2 - 3 use trasparent textures scramble by coordinates like this :

that was the trasparency texture is from the first pic, well reconstruct the trasparent textures it will take a lot of work and eyes, too low resolution for determine where part is what part...  well i was thinking crazy ideas like some code or hack for disable texture transparency coordinate (when you use wireframe you will see the parts of that texture) and use new trasparency textures, or more realistic, a tool simillar used by resident evil programers to make this coordinated transparency texture or wharever tecnical name have from the new created; another finding was sometimes new texture appear then reemplaze for a low resolution when i move between scenes. well some wants too see more i recomend waifu2x (google is your friend), also i repack this textures for you can check.

Looks very promising, I hope people will help on this, the PC version (SourceNext) has texture wobbling, so all my hopes for the definitive version of the game are on the gamecube one. Thanks for working on this.
