I'm looking into getting a new GPU to add on my HTPC-ish computer (that GT 440 is ancient nowadays) but my case only allow low profile (by low profile I mean half height) cards. So, looks like the only 10 series options potentially getting low profile versions are the GTX 1050/1050 Ti, but I found them meh (by meh I mean not future proof enough for my liking -- those cards are excellent regarding what they offer vs their price tag). For real, all I wanted was a low profile version of GTX 1060, it can be dual slot and even demand an external power connector, I don't care, it just have to be half height, please!
