To be fair, though, two of my three most played games in Steam are both Gamebryo-based Bethesda games (and I've been told that Steam doesn't even log Skyrim time if SKSE is used, even though it does with FONV and NVSE). Even if it's buggy as hell, I'm still going to get at least as much playtime out of it as I should for the money I'll spend. I've not bought it yet, though, and it's a whole 12 hours since its release in the UK, as there's definitely more of New Vegas that I haven't seen than what I have seen.

Apparently using FO3/FNV SLI profiles works for FO4. I quit on Bethesda.

That seems odd. They're all Gamebryo, but surely Skyrim's would be the obvious choice... or are you just stating that those work, not that only those work.
