I'm still on the first Witcher (it was like £1 on Origin, and GOG give you a discount on tW3 if you own the first two) so I've got quite a way to go before the third one is a necessity. Also it's supposed to run really poorly on Kepler cards - all GPUs are forced to use silly levels of tessellation because it's a GameWorks game, and nVidia knows AMD have poor tessellation performance compared to Maxwell, but there's a way to force it to a more sensible level in Catalyst Control Centre (in fact you can drop from 64x to 8x before the difference is perceptible, and it still looks fine at 4x) but there's no remedy for Kepler, so you're stuck with the performance hit.

Consistency brah. I just have to buy it no matter what. I'm OCD like that.
Btw not making fun of OCD, I'm actually ADHD, OCD. If I have one game I have to have the sequels etc.. for it. It also throws me for a loop if say the sequel(s) for a game are released on a platform other than my platform of choice I purchased the prior game on. It's a royal pain in the ass sometimes. I'm like that when I get cleaning - no spot left behind. Everything has to be according to me. My bedtime ritual where I lay all my speakers on their sides, check the burners on the stove to ensure they are off, check the locks. I am persistent and will keep after anything until I am satisfied with the results, can't stop even after being told enough and it's fine and I don't need to do any more. Lose focus and sometimes distracted easily. Good thing this is the random thread so I don't have to feel bad by telling you all this nonsense. 06-04-2015, 01:13 AM

Or would apply if I wasn't so fucking lazy. I'll usually want the sequels to a game, but I'll almost always end up putting off actually getting them until I don't even really want them anymore. And while I find cleaning to be annoying as hell, when I do get to it, I'm certainly thorough. And while I still live with my parents (not even 18 yet), I feel like when I do move to my own house, I'll have a bedtime ritual. Unless, of course, I end up being too lazy to do it, as usual.

I'm a grad student at Arizona State University studying behavior analysis. I can share some light into what is technically considered OCD. A person should not justify him/herself as being OCD or ADHD unless the behaviors are affecting everyday living. So in these cases, the answer is no. Because these behaviors (checking stove, locks, laying of speakers, etc.) on a dialy basis is not necessarily considered true OCD if they are interfering with normal behaviors. Extreme hoarding, constant checking of the locks going in and out of doors in public places, washing of hands every time when being exposed to types of materials are considered as true diagnosis of OCD. Self-diagnosing is highly popularized in society and websites such as WebMD is just purely for the light minded individual. Unless you have medical paperwork to back it up =)

^This.
90%+ of self diagnosed mental disorders I see online are obviously wrong. Often the person in question does not show a single symptom of the disease. It's gotten so out of hand in recent years thanks to the internet that it's beginning to negatively effect society. For the record I'm not saying anyone here is doing this. I'm just making a comment about it while we're on the subject. Quite frankly even if you do suspect someone of doing it there is no way to really prove it without illegally getting a hold of their medical records. If anyone thinks they have a mental disorder please check with a competent doctor and have them diagnose you before you go around telling people you have X disorder. teh_speleegn I highly doubt that you do.
