Speaking of which, there was an incident (well, a series of incidents really) with the US Department of the Army actively discriminated against a transgender employee recently. She was a Desert Storm vet no less, and she still got disrespected. Here's the read if anyone is interested: http://www.fedmanager.com/case-law-updat...e-10-28-14

Apparently people in USA can claim 15$ from Intel if they bought one of the first Pentium 4 chips as compensation for rigged benchmarks. https://www.intelpentium4litigation.com/

I'll let the 6 people who bought them know immediately.

Well, looks like its "voting day" tomorrow for me here in California (and for the other states too). My first time voting also. Good luck to everyone voting here on this forum tomorrow, whoever your voting for.
Also, kinkinkijkin, I hope everyone turns out well for you. Even if my beliefs differ from yours I know that no one should be abused like this, and I wish you luck in your endeavors. Unfortunately I can't really help you out since I don't really have any money to spare and I live pretty far from Canada (and the fact that my family or I don't know you personally, but I'm sure your a pretty good person ) and I'm leaving for Alaska in the next two weeks and ill be staying there for about two years. Also, even though ill still be on for around 2 weeks, It will soon be farewell for me from these forums for those two years. It was a good time, and I learned a lot. You guys are awesome :') 11-04-2014, 11:59 AM

There was no line at all and it was so painless. Compare that to the 2008 federal elections which were a nightmare in my precinct. I was in line for that one for several hours just to get in. And I got there first thing in the morning. It was ever worse for the people who got there later. ThorhiantheUltimate Wrote:Even if my beliefs differ from yours What do you mean by that? Not much I know about this, is it possible to complain to the city or something about abusive parents?
Google accounts are free, come with 15gb of total storage each, which can be used purely for Drive, but you can only register a few per IP before they ask for cell confirmation. If 2 clients create a folder with the same name, Drive just gives up and creates 2 copies of the folder rather than merging the tree and combining duplicate files. Zip 15 gb of files per archive, split zips into small chunks for ease of uploading, upload 1 archive's worth per account? That way if you lose access to one account, the whole archive's not corrupted. Are you concerned about them monitoring web activity? Is obfuscated Tor preferrable to them monitoring, or worse because they think you're hiding? I assume they already know about your "situation", though from an awful point of view. (also tor's slow, but it technically is fast enough to load Youtube without 5-minute-buffering, when I last tried it) You can't really register cloud accounts over Tor. |
