@Shonumi: that sounds really promising! Is GBE going to be a part of it, or is it a preliminary project you're working on to gain some experience coding emulators?
@lamedude: People have always been, and will always be stupid. Honestly I'm surprised it's only been two people so far. On second thought though there's probably been a lot more, but only two of them posted about it. EDIT: Let me rephrase that first sentence; it should read: "There have always been, and will always be, stupid people."

If a Wii U emulator is ever created I can't wait to try netplay on it for SSB4. 8 player battles will be amazing.

Oops, almost forget to reply to this :p I worked on GBE to gain a foothold into understanding programming emulators. I figured the GB would make a nice start (it's much more sane than the NES, from a beginner's point of view at least). I also figured if I eventually wanted to move onto the DS, I might as well start with the GB and work my way up. GBE is both a preliminary project for GBE+ and it's going to be part of GBE+. Most of the GB/GBC code is solid, imo, it just needs to be cleaned up and revamped. The plan is to abstract large portions of emulation in a general sense (the LCD, sound controllers, CPU, MMU) so GBE+ can run specific implementations geared towards the GB, GBC, GBA, and eventually the DS. It should be pretty flexible, so I can combine all of the systems under one project. Merging parts of GBE with GBE+ is something I plan to do once GUI work begins some time early next year. 10-25-2014, 09:21 PM

^ Not really lol. They probably only did it because they found out the mother was dating a sex offender so bad publicity and ratings dropping. Not so surprisingly a percentage of the American population is still just as stupid as ever. I for one am getting sick of all the reality garbage on television especially when it devolves into bottom of the cess pool material such as Honey Boo Boo. I don't mind Cops, America's most wanted and some others but there's a point where I draw the line.

Actually Reality TV itself is dying not only Honey Boo Boo. AMC is cancelling it's reality TV shows to focus on scripted shows.

The baby boomers and generation X are mainly what's keeping it alive at this point. Once they're dead the internet will make it completely obsolete as content providers will be forced to switch over or risk losing their primary revenue stream. Spoiler:

FWIW I was for death panels. You need to have kids or we'll end up like Japan. I'll pull the plug if it means I get to sleep in.
