Hopefully the board is still covered and was indeed faulty, upon inspection of the cpu pins none appeared bent so likely faulty especially since the ceramic heatsink on the northbridge was loose. :/
I have this awesome heatsink I want to buy and is supposed to cool well which I need being in a hot tin can of a trailer during summer with an inefficient air conditioner. I need a new/better heatsink as these don't cool as well as I thought they would especially once I overclock. I decided that I'm not pushing past 3.8 Ghz for an overclock, I can get a 3.8Ghz overclock with 2.27500v QPI voltage with 2.22500v CPU voltage stable without adjusting anything else. Eventually I want to get a new ram get preferable 12GB to 24GB and a GTX 760 or 780 which should go down in price by the time I have enough money. I think the hdmi port in one GTX 460 is giving way and might break. Have to keep my cat away from the wires and system, one of my hdmi cables already got busted thanks to the cat.
2V's CPU Voltage? Are you fucking retarded?
Sorry for that insult, but you do not deserve better. Anything after 1.4V will cause serious problems, especially on X58 and you're not gonna cool that thing down no matter what. Sorry, stick to a OC where you need under 1.4V to stay stable.
