What if Link were actually Zelda?

Nintendo is clearly messing with us.
They're announcing Pac-Man for Smash Bros. and we STILL haven't heard news about Captain Falcon, Ness, or all the other characters that just NEED to make a return. Pac-Man looks like he replaces Jigglypuff. Which sucks. (06-11-2014, 01:44 PM)pauldacheez Wrote: WHAT IF THEY JUST REPLACED LINK WITH GENERAL GRIEVOUS May the force be with you!
Well Nintendo, you win. Good show. I'm buying a Wii U now! Between Zelda U and Xenoblade X at E3, as well as Smash 4, Mario Kart 8, and Wind Waker HD (I'm a graphics girl and I want to study the pretties), that's the 5 games. I intend to get one before 2015. Christmas maybe?
That is definitely a girl. The bound up hair in a short ponytail and long wisps, the little blush on the cheeks, the waist definition, on and on. And as Aonuma said... Eiji Aonuma Wrote:No one explicitly said that that was Link. My bets is that it's zelda/sheik. Bow as primary weapon, no sword, right handed, and of course female. And for the record, I am exstatic! This is great! I hope they go all the way with this, and it doesn't turn into a "got you!" thing where you only play as her for 5 minutes and then back to Link. Pulled my system apart once again. Going to reseat the heatsink/fan on the cpu and make sure the rubber feet are on securely and no metal from the heatsink brackets are shorting the board. Cmos battery pulled to reset the cmos, reapply thermal past and install the heatsink/fan again. Then if it's not that I suppose I'll have to swap the gpu with my other GTX 460, swap ram or the psu with another until I find the culprit. My guess is I busted the gpu when trying to play Tomb Raider at max settings because oddly everything was fine until then. The game likely caused the gpu to get too hot, it was hot and humid inside/outside so likely not a good combination, I had the air conditioner going but it's a small 5,000BTU room air conditioner that was having trouble keeping up.
I don't have a multimeter to test circuits plus that along with proper soldering is something I have yet to learn so the part swapping is the quickest/easiest thing I can do. I'll also do a sniff test on the psu and if it checks out I'll try it out, if I still experience trouble then I'll try swapping that out with another I have sitting around. If neither (gpu, psu, short) are an issue than I know it's definitely the board, the following makes me think it could be one of two things.. Quote:There were rapid beeps in succession That could suggest two things. Rapid short beeps indicate ram issue. Rapid long beeps indicate a power issue, in my case it seems it was the long rapid beeps. Latter would either be a board or psu issue but not 100% indicative of hardware failure as something else can be at fault. Quote:at one point there was a black screen where the letter "A" or some other letter scrolled down the left side of my screen for several lines until I rebooted Upon searching I've seen that a corrupted bios/cmos could cause this or a bios rom issue. So I may try reflashing my bios if there was any released for this board. The issue here seems to be the system can stay powered on in the bios screen but while loading Windows or if I get into Windows the system will shut down. Edit: If it's the psu by chance hopefully my warranty is still in tact. Motherboard should have at least a year warranty but judging by the specifications and features of the board it seems unlikely it would fail so quickly even with the overclock. My cpu does not seem to be damaged so the cpu is fine afaik so my bets are either the gpu or psu but I may be wrong on that, won't know until I test everything.
Well, time to buy a Wii U... in 2015 :|
Not that I don't want MK8, but I'm going to hold off on the console until there are a lot of games I want to play. Currently there are only two (MK8 and SSB4), and I might not even get SSB4 right away since I own a 3DS and have been wanting a portable SSB since forever. Nintendo has some really strong offerings, but the pipeline is thin this year for what interests me. Not that I'm in a rush to buy an XBone (though the Master Chief Collection + Destiny + no Kinect is very appealing) or a PS4 (JRPGs, where are you?). I don't get why NIS is stalling on bringing a new Disgaea. EDIT: Also Persona 5 needs to come out for PS3 already unless they decide to bring it to PS4 which will be great. |
