"Everywhere in the developed world except America in a nutshell"
Fixed that for you. >checks remaining linear algebra openings >only 1 class and it conflicts with my required courses Every time. Gah and I still need to submit all that financial stuff for my scholarship before the deadline. Sometimes I feel like life is just a never ending frantic struggle to get everything done on time.

I fail at math and programming logic. Went to college and took up a cs major, could not grasp programming logic. It's amazing I was able to pass other college courses considering my background.. meaning I didn't have a regular grade school education.

I hate not being 100% sure on whether someone is a legitimate member or a spambot because I might end up accidentally banning a legitimate member. :/
Profile is an obvious giveaway but I hesitate if a bot doesn't post spam off the bat. An obvious bot bumped a thread but I reported instead of banning cause not 100% sure. That was until I refreshed and saw it was going on a full on spam assault bumping several threads and decided to kill it before it got too out of hand. R.I.P. Obvious bot, you are dead..not big surprise. Edit: Wow.. that bot actually posted and evaded detection on the 1st. I suppose seemingly on topic copypasta wasn't all that noticeable. But yeah I killed it once it started spamming threads en mass today else we might've had several dozen spam posts to clean up. 04-13-2014, 02:07 AM
Math in college was much more understandable than in public high school, for me at least. It was probably due to the fact that in college the concepts weren't entirely foreign while in high school they were, but I'm willing to bet it also had a lot to do with the educators themselves. I sailed through all my college math courses, but got Bs and Cs all through out high school (except for the 2 programming classes I took).
On a side note, currently exploring ARM assembly to eventually create an ARM7 emulator. It's a pretty big step up from a modified Z80 but I'm liking it so far. Presently coding some test GBA ROMs to verify instruction behavior. 04-13-2014, 03:17 AM

I'm also learning about ARM assembly and CPUs for DS emulation in the future. Even if I don't make it that far, I'll still be able to make some cool homebrew stuff. Which reminds me, I need to look up some good flashcarts for the GBA (suggestions welcome) strictly for development purposes.

lol he doesn't want to be called an asshole for preferring accuracy over speed by idiots.
delroth Wrote:Why don't you learn powerpc and start working on Dolphin instead? :< Honestly, I would rather learn the DSP's assembly and do RE work on the Zelda ucode, but I think you've got that covered :p Anti Ultimate Wrote:lol he doesn't want to be called an asshole for preferring accuracy over speed by idiots. While on one hand it's tedious to deal with such people, on another hand, you do get the clueless folks that are utterly hilarious to deal with. Actually, I don't really care what people think of me in terms of my contributions to the emulation community ("y u make HD gameboy emulator??? ITd NOT LIEK OREGINAL!!!!11!1"), I'm going to work on what I want, so... |
