Actually, I just noticed I don't see any ads on Dolphin's site any more. Is this normal? I don't use an adblocker, but have seen devs talk about ad revenue before.

There are ads in several locations on Dolphin websites:
* Main site, download page * Main site, FAQ page * Main site, on each guide page * Main site, on each blog article * Forums, top of the page They are all completely managed by Google and should try and show you content that's targeted to you as most as possible (that's how Google makes money: they get tons of advertisers saying "hey, I want to advertise to this kind of people" and then show these ads to people according to what they think is interesting for them). You can manage your ads preferences yourself if you think Google has not profiled you properly: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences 01-23-2014, 06:00 AM
The only ad that shows up is for one of my country's online store, they have some really great deals btw, wish they sold computer parts and that their computer section had more details, cause telling me a laptop has an Intel i5 processor and an Nvidia graphic card is not much for me to go on.

A rubric is used, my college doesn't give back your paper after an exam so all you can do is go to a big board and search for your registration number and see your grades beside it, and for those two subjects i was just given an F. My department suffers from population density issues so if you're that one guy who has to input almost 300+ values into a computer, your brain melts along the way i guess. But i got a B on my thesis by the way which is great, it really surprised me cause i had shit relationship with my supervisor The road to getting a job and moving off to live on my own is a long one....

There doesn't seem to be an ad space at the top of the forums

Adblock? Noscript? Ghostery? Flashblock? Flash disable in settings?
There are definitely ads there, it's your browser or your network doing weird things. 01-23-2014, 08:14 AM
I was able to see the ads yesterday, but they aren´t appearing today. I´m using Chrome and Shockwave Flash is NOT disabled.

I just tested in IE, and it doesn't show an ad either, but does leave a nice empty space where an ad could go.

To be honest, I feel better when I don´t have to mess with ads. All they do (or at least the mayority of them) is to -fuck up- your life and make it a chaos. Not to even mention the hell they provocate in low-RAM-amount PCs.
