That's because it uses CAcert, one of the only certification authorities that are community based and open instead of simply "give us money and we'll give you a certificate". Unfortunately that means browsers and operating systems don't always trust CAcert by default (my system does, Windows based stuff probably don't). See http://wiki.cacert.org/FAQ/BrowserClients for ways to indicate to your browser/OS that you actually trust CAcert.

Android doesn't trust it either. I think it's more like chrome doesn't trust it at least for me.
