Me messing around in Saints Row IV; second video is me completing an actual mission. This game is so much fun, I am glad I purchased it.

Valve says that SteamOS will play Windows and Mac games (spanish text: "Puedes también jugar a todos tus juegos de Windows y Mac en tu máquina SteamOS.")... I wonder how they would do that .

It plays it on your Windows/Mac machine, and streams the video back to your SteamOS system in your living room as well as sending input back.

I don't entirely agree with this. With the exception of testing most of the good changes seem to come from registered users and admins. While nearly all of the bad changes seem to come from random IPs. And you're right without the admins tireless work it would still be the cesspool it was when I started using it. Garteal Wrote:which isn't even a hassle since you can easily undo their changes. Checking your articles every week for changes, testing/confirming which ones are BS, then deleting them is a hassle. I did that on the TP, WW, and MP articles for close to a year then got too fed up with it to continue. That was a few years ago. It seems that random user activity has died down since I left while admin activity has increased dramatically. Which is a good thing. It's kind of weird suddenly seeing it on the front page of so many news sites thanks to the release of 4.0

'Their shit to yours' is not in-home, it's internet. Anyway:

So after all we would need 2 PCs.... At first it doesn't sound very good, but then I thought that I can connect my old PC in the living room and play streamed games from my new PC. But I don't know if image quality and latency would be good with my shitty router .

Assuming you put a Gigabit switch between that I'm sure you will be fine. 09-24-2013, 11:37 PM
I'm actually interested in SteamOS provided that it's all setup for you. It will be nice to play my games on the 200hz TV.
