The reason it doesn't have a hinge is so kids can't break it (You wouldn't believe how many people I know that have a DS with the hinge broken). Also the device only has one physical screen. The two screens shown is just an illusion put on by the case so it literally CAN'T fold. If it could fold it would probably cost about the same price as a 3DS Original which would kill the purpose.noah Wrote:Am I the only one who thinks the 2DS is a good idea? That all said I would never buy this device. I would also feel bad for the kid who's parents bought this device for them simply because it was cheaper. 09-05-2013, 09:27 AM

I don't understand the hate either. It's just for a different market. Don't like it? Well, it's not for you.

The 3DS though seems to have very good protection in that area. I trust Nintendo's decision though. They probably don't expect too much from the 2DS.(09-05-2013, 09:15 AM)Invader Wrote:I'm sorry.(09-05-2013, 08:02 AM)NaturalViolence Wrote:Reggie publicly said that the device was aimed at kids from 5 to 7.
