Direct3D11?
I'm suddenly... not disappointed at all. Besides, most games will eventually be D3D11 or higher only eventually. D3D9 only stayed around for as long as it did due to the main platform that games were developed on this gen (Xbox 360) using D3D9 exclusively. I expect D3D11 to last as long as this coming generation at the very least for the same reasons. God, I hate how I worded that. Also, 08-06-2013, 07:04 AM

Add to that the fact that d3d10+ weren't support on windows xp which remained the most popular windows OS until very recently.

I forgot about Windows XP only supporting DX9, but considering the way Windows 8 is shaping up to be, I could see Windows 7 becoming the new Windows XP for at least half a decade, if not a decade. 08-06-2013, 08:50 AM
Has anyone here ever fixed a ps3 controller with the left analogue stick sending the "down" input problem? When I would move the left stick it would have random button pressed and even though I moved the stick on the screen it was still going down. Well I've put padding to make sure the ribbon is making contact inside the controller and that's fixed the random button pressing. But the left analogue stick is still sending a down input. It started when I was playing assassins creed revelations back in January. It just randomly started doing it, ezio started walking backwards, and because I had a pc I didn't care enough to try fixing it then. Well I've fixed one of the problems which was caused by the foam inside the controller not pushing the input ribbon close enough to the mobo and moving the analogue stick caused the mobo to wiggle and therefore random button presses, or that was the gist of the fix I found for it seemed to say. I'm still googling but any help would be awesome.

How to fix any PS3 controller:
1. Throw current controller away 2. Buy new one 3. ????? 4. Negative profit

Wow, I bought Pikmin 3 and I have to say it's probably one of the most beautiful games I've ever played on a console. I also am pretty bad at it.

Nice vid. But it's far from being the most beautiful visually. It does have a nice charm to it though.
