It happened during my PE class while we were out at a local golf course. When we came back by bus, the school was on lockdown (if there had been a bomb or credible threat of a bomb, why drive us back to school at all?). Everybody was put out in the football field until an all-clear was given. When these kinds of threats are real, they're dangerous to everyone, and when they're fake, it just causes unnecessary panic, fear, and delays (rest of the classes were canceled that day though, not complaining about that). That's incredibly stupid of her. Glad to hear that your school seems to have handled things pretty well. (Driving the kids back to the bomb-site, not so much )
Btw, the girl was caught, iirc she used her own phone to send the threat. Dodgy I doubt she would have passed that test even if she had studied...
Hopefully this stuff with Leiden doesn't turn into anything other than dealing with the person who made the threat.
You guys get Golf for PE? Lol, how was it? PE used to pretty random here, but mostly consisting of dodgeball, football, basketball, hockey, etc.
As for the Leiden incident, the cops seem to have a (probably not related) suspect. Tomorrow the schools will open up. Hopefully things will stay peaceful and clear up soon.
