I've gotten dreamspark premium through my 6th form college (is it still necessary to specify that 6th form is for UK people between 16 and 18?) When it says that an OS can only be installed on a computer with an existing windows licence, does it mean that it actually needs a legit looking licence key, or that Microsoft just don't want you using a free OS? If it does want a key, will Windows 98 do, as one of the computers potentially being upgraded (which technically, I do need on Windows 7 to get the printer sharing fixed, so I can print coursework) is stuck on counterfeit (as in, genuinely counterfeited, as in it was bought as legitimate) windows XP, but we still have a legit windows 98 key?
