I never thought the game would be good the moment I heard about the stickers/no XP, that right there made me never want to even try the game

Bleh, Windows re-install time. Something fubar'd in my old install causing me to lag in online games and have higher ping. On a fresh install my ping is reduced by 13+ ms.

@Shonumi
I'm sorry you didn't liked the game. It doesn't take much to entertain me though so I'm a sucker for these games and I actually loved Super Paper Mario. But yeah the game is a bit to easy even for my standards, I'm gonna try to cheat my way through as much as I can and find some nice exploits. 12-10-2012, 05:25 AM
Quote:Oh... Don't even get me started on this game (too late). It's a piss-poor excuse for an RPG to be sure, and a below average action game. I bought it hoping for an RPG, so naturally I'm disappointed in it. Truth be told, I never finished Super Paper Mario because it was so far away from what the first two games were. I think I'll be shelving this game similarly. Good...goooood. Let the hate flow through you.

Why'd you post a picture of the pope?... Oh, wait, it's palpatine.

Well, I'm really curious as to why people lose their sanity over Valve.
Almost everywhere I hear people ripping their hair off for Half-Life 3. What's it with the Half-Life series. Is it that good? I remember playing Half Life (1 or 2) sometime ago (years), and it wasn't anything special. That's the reason I never went through with it. Then we have the Portal series. Very overrated if you ask me. I've played and beaten 1, but stopped halfway through Portal 2. 1 was very creative and refreshing. But it definitely seemed like a technical demo of some sort. Unfinished, unpolished and a horrible story. 2 expanded on 1 with better puzzles etc, but the 'magic' was gone and it just felt stale to me. Am I missing something? 12-11-2012, 02:53 AM

I'm with you on Portal. I played through the first game and it was enjoyable for a while, but by the time I was done, I didn't want to play it or another game like it again. After the first one, I got the idea behind it and I didn't need to see any more.
Half-Life 2 is just a really good game. Maybe you had to have played it when it was new to really enjoy it and be amazed by what it was, but the game still holds up very well with its graphics and gameplay even today. So, get yourself a copy of HL2, set all the graphics settings to their highest and play it. I'm sure you will have a good time with it and enjoy what it has to offer.

i don't understand how one could not like Portal 2. The only people I know who didn't think it was the greatest thing ever have really weird taste in games.
