Sorry for the double post, but I wanted a clean one after my driver cleaning. Ok after some driver sweeping (and some computer trouble from it that I had to resolve), I got 13.1 back. It looks like the newest drivers have decreased the performance of DX9 mode slightly, while DX11 is either the same or slightly better than on previous drivers.
On the DKCR title screen mentioned in the first post, I'm getting anywhere from 54-57fps on DX11, with a couple of spikes up to 59fps or so (regardless of the resolution or anything). DX9 hovers around 57fps with more frequent spikes to 60fps than DX11 has. The performance seems closer between the two backends than it was using older version 12.xx AMD drivers. It could just be me though. It is important to note of course that in my case, i'm CPU limited with my AMD Athlon II processor. But I think these speed issues are related to the GPU and its drivers, because on version 12 drivers using the DX9 backend, I was hitting up to 60-62fps. If it were my CPU, I doubt I'd be getting better speed with different graphics drivers...
The Catalyst Control Center IS showing the card clocking up though in whatever situation I put it in, so I don't know what's going on.
