Hi xtreme2damax,
I'm using this build since yesterday and i'm experencing some random crashes with zelda...maybe the texture cache stuff 'could be causing it? I've set it to 'normal' now and i'm testing...

I'm not sure, I haven't had any issues with crashes yet. In order to improve the speed a bit I had to revert a JIT change but I doubt this would have affected this game. The other patch also shouldn't have caused any crashes so I don't think it's the issue.
Sometimes Dolphin tends to crash at random, you may want to verify if the game crashes at the same spot every time or if it's a random crash. For me the emulator will sometimes crash, but after restarting the game and playing through again it is fine. 05-05-2010, 02:55 AM
You're right..it's quite random...but i noticed that tends to crash when i minimize the window ( I'm playing in windowed mode) and , when I come back to the game, try to transform in the wolf.
So nothing to do with the changes made by you. Great build.

hey xtreme, first thanks you for the latest builds with the zelda patch your awesome, could you upload the newest rev with the pacth? i wanted to see the new effects they added, thanks

It seems the patch causes some minor issues with textures in some games, long term solution would be for developers to fix the actual issue so all the data is flushed through the pipeline without affecting speed.
I will upload a newer build, however it won't be until a bit later. 05-06-2010, 10:24 AM
sure np man, thanks anyways, im using your build to play TP, and using a "normal" build to play the other games ;P

I've compiled and uploaded revision 5457 (x86/x64), compiled without the TP Hyrule Field speedup patch until I can figure out how to add an option to the configuration to toggle this on and off.
