I bought a new phone yesterday (Samsung S21) and connected a PS4 controller to it via bluetooth. It works fine with all emulators except for Dolphin.
Here is the best way I can describe the issue: by default (i.e. before binding the controls), the PS4's left stick controls the nunchuck's analog stick, pressing the PS4's right stick lunges the Wiitmote forward, and no other buttons work at all. After binding the controls - binding B to triangle, A to square, and so on - nothing changes. None of the PS4's buttons work and the only function is moving with the analog stick and lunging the Wiimote forward by pressing the right one. Aside from these two functions, the controller is useless, even after configuring the bindings. I have tinkered with all the settings and used all kinds of configurations (yes, I even tried using the guitar setting), but nothing works. The PS4 controller is effectively an Atari controller and nothing changes this.
Anyone have any advice on how to fix this? What might be wrong here? I am specifically trying to use the PS4 controller as a simulated Wiimote/Nunchuck (not a classic controller), with the intention of using the right analog stick to swing.
