So I'm trying to set up Dolphin right now.
So far I have set up an actual Wii remote that I own correctly and all of the buttons work in the actual emulator.
I have not been able to get the Wii remote to use any sort of motion whatsoever.
It is an older (before the Wii U era) black WiiMotion Plus controller.
I brought the sensor bar from my Wii over to my PC to get it to capture motion. The sensor bar is plugged in to the powered on Wii, when I looked through my phone camera at the bar the IR lights were on.
The problem is the remote just not registering it whatsoever.
I have already tried moving back various lengths.
I have not encountered any fix for this and I've been searching for hours.
Any help would be much appreciated, thank you.
UPDATE AS OF JUST NOW:
I got the sensor to work ONE TIME with Dolphin, so it's not the sensor. I rebooted my computer and loaded the Wii Menu up, it worked perfectly, so I clicked on the channel I had loaded in and Dolphin crashed. The file that is running the channel works, I have loaded it without the menu before. The sensor also doesn't work when I load the channel with no menu. Everything is unplayable without the ability to use motion controls.
