My phenom II x4 940 can't handle wii on a single core let alone a 2 generation old cpu.... You need 2 cores minimum... and then you need a good cpu. Core 2 duo clocked at 3ghz and upward should be the minimum requirement not a pentium 4. And where the hell can you even buy a pentium 4 now a days, India?!?!?
we were not talking about pentium 4 playing dolphin emulator, we were primarily taking about pc games in general. please read the whole thread before you post.

Most of my system seems to be good aside from the video card. Can I play?
amd cpu's seems to have problems with dolphin (try to OC your cpu or upgrade )
the other specs seems to fine Video Card needs a major upgrade. if you any suggestion for a video card let me know. 10-25-2010, 08:02 AM
P4's are still an incredibly popular processor. Businesses and schools usually use them because they're so cheap but they'll do basic things.
Laptop:
i5 520m :: 4GB RAM :: ATI 5650 (700, 900)
when i was in high school years ago my after school program we used to create gaming computers off of p4 school computers to play war of warcraft.
Right now there is only one p4 cpu that cost over $60 used which is P4 560 3.6ghz but you can find it new for $120.(now that crazy) |
