This includes the Virtual Console, GameCube discs, PAL, NTSC-U, NTSC-J and even a couple of ROM hacks (mostly through the Patcher64+ Tool). Yes, copy all folders into the Texture Folder. Also make sure Dolphin is updated to either the latest Beta or Development build. 05-13-2021, 05:23 AM

Sorry if this is possibly a dead horse and you've gotten this before, but I've noticed the various bugs in 30fps mode that prevents business scrubs from being interacted with, makes bombs detonate faster, and various other quirks. Is the only recourse for this issue to set it back to 20fps mode or is there a workaround to allow the game to function with 30fps? I am playing on the Master Quest / Collector's Edition GCN copies of the games.
Edit: I noticed you saying the VC version is the superior way to play. I will see how these do in comparison. 05-13-2021, 06:40 AM

The game revolves around the 20fps NTSC/17fps PAL framerates and requires careful work to not break the game in general. Just the nature of this 05-13-2021, 06:59 AM

I am playing on the Master Quest / Collector's Edition GCN copies of the games. Known issues yes, no plans at the moment. There's a built-in button toggle into the Gecko Gecko for this reason so you can revert back to 20 FPS mode temporarily to overcome these issues. If 30 FPS mode would have worked perfectly, then there would have been no need to that FPS toggle button. It should work well enough through. In some cases the 20 FPS mode activates automatically, such as like during cutscenes to prevent softlocks. In other cases having 30 FPS only makes things a bit harder, but not impossible. Bombs exploding faster generally isn't much of an issue, but the throwing distance could be at times. AR Codes between the GC discs and VC versions should be up to sync, so no difference for the 30 FPS code between those. I originally had plans to port my AR Codes to the PAL GC discs too, but there's little point in doing so now, now that Patcher64+ has a much more efficient solution. The VC version is mostly preferable due to it's easy of modding and compatibilitytability with Patcher64+. The VC emulation is also a bit more accurate than the GC discs. So nothing like the lagging you encounter with Clock Town on the GC (through you can always overclock Dolphin to counter that). Audio issues are also less present on the VC. 06-10-2021, 10:01 AM
Hello, I love this texture pack and really appreciate the work behind it, however I'm having some minor issues with some textures not displaying correctly, playing the Collector's Edition on the latest Dolphin build.
Here are a couple of screenshots to show the problems I'm having: As you can see the leafs on the roofs of Kakariko village are floating and exhibit blue artifacts. Here in the Lost Woods the lower part of the walls also appear to display incorrectly. I'm not sure if these issues are something on my end. If someone is willing to lend a hand I can also share my specs and settings. I would be grateful for any assistance. 06-11-2021, 04:47 PM

That definitely seems like a bug. 2. That's just N64 geometry modeling at it's best. Could use some tweaking for it's HD texture to make it look less jarring. |
