@Bighead: Which version/setting did you use to dump those textures? We've changed our efb2tex path a bit to just zero the region. This does affect the hash for nsmbw, as well as efb2ram. Which versions do you want to have included in your texture pack? You'll see which one it is based on the coin in the upper part. If it's wiped, then it's current efb2tex, if there is just one image with the static coin, then it's the old efb2tex. If there are lots of textures with a rotated coin, it's efb2ram (maybe you have to increase the hash accurency to hit them at all).
To be honest, I think efb2ram with custom textures will be a performance hell. So only the new efb2tex images are fine for me
Edit: Oh, haven't see that those big textures aren't updated. So good news, with the current efb2tex path, there will be a bit less textures
