EDIT: I don't think they've included zlib1.dll in the package so that have to be found here: http://www.dll-files.com/dllindex/dll-files.shtml?zlib1 12-14-2012, 06:44 AM
There are no plugins for anything in the download and i not a fan of randomly placing dll files in folders.

You're not exactly randomly putting it in a folder, you just extract it to ePSXe's main folder, it's needed trust me. As for the plugins yes it's true they're not included. But all you really need is already included like Internal SPU, Controller, CD-ROM etc. So basically all you need to find is a good Video Plugin. Recommended is : Pete's OpenGL2 PSX GPU. V 2.9: - http://www.pbernert.com/gpupeteogl209.zip gpuBladeSoft 1.41: - http://emu-russia.net/en/dl_files/plugin...ows-x86.7z - http://sourceforge.net/projects/gtk-win/ (Needed to configure gpuBladeSoft) PCSX2 GSdx: http://pcsx2.net/download/releases/windo...inary.html Just take your pick and enjoy the show. 12-15-2012, 12:00 AM
When I tried the pcsx2 plugin it never remebered any of my settings and didn't limit the FPS so I was getting like 250+ XD

Which game did you use? I get solid 50/60 FPS depending if it's a PAL or NTSC game I'm playing and that is with the Internal SPU, could be that you used P.E.Op.S. DSound plugin or something. I have tried most of the games I have and FPS is correct. EDIT: Maybe I should post some screenshots this weekend or something... 12-15-2012, 08:08 PM
Looks like zlib is static linked now. Its not showing up in Dependency Walker.

Then when you have made your changes in the plugin it should look something like this: C:\ePSXe\inis\gsdx.ini Also make sure you have write access to it. 12-17-2012, 03:43 AM

The PCSX2 GSdx plugin + the default audio plugin is all you really need if simplicity is all you care for. Haven't bumped into any kind of trouble yet and I'm satisfied with the results. It looks almost as I was playing on the real PSX sometimes. |
