use windows
Well, that is a solution I've discarded: I have no windows license and I don't want to buy one. Besides, performance of video decoding in a VM with tight resources is a big question...
Of course, if "use windows" was one of my considered options then there would be no question to ask. I've just used windows.
Previously I have discarded:
a) Using windows either in VM or direct hardware
b) Using a real Wii, Roku, Tivo or any other hardware (I would like to use my linux mediacenter as the only equipment attached to my tv)
c) Using Playon.tv (it needs a windows server somewhere in your lan)
d) Using boxee application (it has no support for Netflix)
e) Using Wine: silverlight doesn't run fine in wine
All these are discarded. The only doubt right now is about the dolphin emu + wii channel/dvd combo.
Best,
Jose

linux is more like a car...
there is no end in fixing things
Linux, linux. I'm trying to make it run on top of Mythbuntu (ubuntu 10.10 with mythtv preconfigured)
