my cpu question
|
I answered your question , didn't i ? Do i need to repeat it
Buy z68 or P67 motherboards then go to the "bios" (Google it) and set FSB value to 113 You would get 113x31 = 3.4ghz according to this thread If you don't know how to overclock your CPU then don't do it . I won't take any reponsibility for this To speed up Sonic Color , right-click the game inside dolphin - properties - Activate vbeam . Sonic Color run fullspeed on my laptop btw Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) ::
thank you admin you are cool

Quote:<NaturalVi> skidau: what is vbeam? I happened to be on IRC while reading through this thread. No I don't fully understand it myself, but skids computer science knowledge allows him to live in a realm of existence so far above our own we cannot even imagine it, so that's about as good of an explanation as you're going to get.

If it will be removed there will be galaxywide drama. Because some games can't be played on more than 1/2 speed or have bad sound issues without this option turned on even on most powerful CPUs.
I don't know how accurate or inaccurate it's in code (never bothered to dig deep enough to find how that thing works) but it surely does the trick of making some games to run at full speed with no sound/picture or whatever issues. Dolphin is the game console emulator, nobody will use it for nuclear experiments So all hacks are acceptable as long as they can be turned off and don't break the code. If it's really does only emulated CPU underclocking then it must be renamed, not removed 12-28-2011, 09:11 PM
Currently vbeam can be emulated one of two ways:
-vbeam hack (turn accurate vbeam emulation off) -accurate vbeam emulation (turn the option on) He's saying that both of them are not accurate enough.
