No, USA/EU doesn't matter, but make sure you're using the right archive for the right game. I have one for each individual game as well as one for the trilogy version, and they don't work for each other (Trilogy version won't load for MP1 on GameCube, for instance).

i have normal mp1 mp2 not trilogy. I moved files in mp1 to gm8p01. İs this right or files should be in mp1 and common?

No, if you downloaded the MP1 archive, then it's already in the folder that it needs to be in order to be loaded (meaning that GM8 one at the root of the archive). If you extracted the mp1 and common folders separately and put them into the Load/Textures folder, Dolphin wouldn't be able to find them. So, after extracting the MP1 archive, you should have a folder at "Load\Textures\GM8", and under GM8 there should be "mp1" and "common" folders (and it's done that way so that it can load for USA/EUR/JAP without needing to change the folder name; having those last three characters are not necessary). Also, make sure you're using the latest development build of Ishiruuka (if you're not already), as the latest release for them is probably just as far behind as the latest release for Dolphin is compared to their latest development build (which is significant). 07-31-2019, 05:18 PM
What's the status on this texture pack, is it finished or do you have any more plans for it?
Just checking to see if I'll wait doing a play through, I want it to look as good as possible 08-01-2019, 02:44 AM

I do want to go back and manually edit some of the things, and I'm still in process of updating font files with the Orbitron font (I got sidetracked the last couple of months with IRL), but the textures are 100% upscaled, and many have said it already looks great as is. Just keep in mind there will be a few places where numbers disappear (health in first-person mode, countdown timers for example) because of previously broken font images. 08-03-2019, 07:33 AM

Looking forward to the Orbitron font, that looked great! And I agree, the games do look great already Thanks! 08-11-2019, 09:05 PM
Just a heads up, I think the full Trilogy texture zip might be partially corrupted. WinRar wouldn't let me extract it at all (something about files having "unknown method"), while 7zip allowed me to, but about 30% of the way through copying the files Windows said the remaining files "no longer existed" or something like that. I've redownloaded it multiple times.
Edit: Okay, finally managed to extract everything without issues, but Winrar is still complaining after further tests, so something odd is up with the zip file, at least. Just letting you folks know just in case. |
