Any idea what the optimal settings are for this game? I've got a relatively strong computer and graphics card so i feel it should be running full speed.

The game needs a lot of CPU power to get to full speed and even then it's tough. Your PC should be able to get full speed, but we also need to know what emulator settings you've used, all of them. It's easier to see what you have set now rather than me just telling you random settings to use.

We have the exact same cpu, i attain 50fps with no notable settings to mention other than having "Enable Audio throttle" off in Dsp Settings.
And "Enable CPU --> EFB Access" ticked.

If he really wants to use the best settings, he's going to have to post what he's using now. Otherwise all we are doing is just guessing and that is not going to help anyone. The best thing is for him to post his settings so we can sort out his problem once and for all. There are any number of settings and plugins he could be using that are slowing things down for him besides what you mentioned, that's why I asked him to post what he's using now. If he does not care to help himself, then there is nothing else to talk about.

Enable EFB Copy to Texture, not RAM.
Disable CPU EFB Access. It is needed for pull-stars, but it slows things down a lot. Enable it only when you have to.
