I'm trying to install the latest developer version on my Samsung Galaxy S6 but they download as html. How do I install it as an app?

That means your browser is doing something dumb to download them, you're not downloading them from dolphin-emu.org, or you're doing something weird to download them.

The only slightly okay Android device for Dolphin right now is the nvidia shield TV. And I say slightly okay because it only emulates very lightweight games alright. The rest are just too slow on crappy mobile SoCs and slow/broken video drivers when we need very good single threaded performance as well as drivers that actually work.

Well by reverting back on the to 4.700s I got the game to load albeit at admittedly slow speeds, but it beats a black screen so I think Pokemon Colosseum is unplayable with the latest version

The Samsung Galaxy S6 with Android 6.0 brought a new Mali video driver that causes loads of rendering issues in multiple games, including Dolphin.
It's a video driver bug that is fixed in newer video driver versions. Nothing we can do about it. |
