Image compression

Sorry for unclear.I meant that games same as Mario Kart Wii(can't create it own save file).when I trimed the iso ,I got rid of the partition ,so it autosave to sdcard(dolphin-general config-wii-insert SDcard) not save in dolphin save folder anymore. At the end,the game become playable
Edit : Trimmed iso will make sdcard size larger (even 500MB depend on how many game you trim) and you will not able to create the banner ,save folder become useless. So I prefer compressor better than trimming Laptop: Youtube Channel (Vintage Tech/Watches) :: 03-17-2010, 08:30 PM
Only Mario Kart Wii NTSC version able to compress ,Pal not due to bad partition

Compressed isos works like shit then full size ones and I get errors in SMG idk if people experience this but yea I lose around 8 fps on compressed isos =/...

I've never losing any FPS (just test now) ,you must understand there are the dump data(trash) on the iso need to remove,if you see 4.36G-->66MB you won't say it bad, most everyone around here use this method to save their own space disc ,ask "xtreme2damax "

Anyone else had similar issues, because if dolphin dont have to decompress it to read it there should not be any difference in FPS.

As far as I know, a compressed ISO plays the same as a non-compressed game. The point of compressing is only to save space on your disk.
