Hi. Thanks for this guide. I'm having a couple problems, and have a couple of questions. If anyone is able to help it would be great.
I've been able to dump the nand using method 2, and put the files into the user/wii folder being careful not to overwrite the SYSCONF file.
I guess I'm not sure exactly what I should be seeing when it is all working. I've loaded the wii menu and it works. There are no other channels that I had installed on the wii. It's just the disc channel. Also, I cant point over to the left side of the screen. Is that normal?
I was using the RC 2.0, so I switched to the most current rev. I noticed before switching out the user/wii files there was an option to install wii menu. I did that, loaded it, and had the same problem. I didn't expect to see anything else in there. I tried to install a wad to the menu, but it didn't show up when loading the menu.
I then put in the nand dump files, and when i load the menu I can see my channels that are on the wii for a second, but then I get an error. I'm at work right now so I dont have the error code here. It is something 806b....
Can anyone give some information? Even if it is just what I should be seeing. I may try to get the most current version of bootmii and redump the nand. Thanks!
