I put the bt module inside my pc case some years ago. My case just have a small window of 10cm x 5cm, placed the module there, but still signal was awful. So I just let the bt module external with a 10cm usb cable. Have a nice signal that way.

Will this setup work for android based devices? And does this module remember paired Wiimotes regardless of the OS?

Are there any shops in Europe that sell preassembled modules? I checked abbie doobie's site but there's no option to ship to Denmark and I haven't been able to find any other sites.

For anyone in the US, I'm thinking of buying some parts to do this with. I've made my own sketchy version and it works, so I want to make a proper-looking version with a 3D printed case. If enough people are interested I'll make and ship them out so please PM/reply if you are.
I've also been looking into the Wii U chip out of curiosity, and it seems there is a pin-out available from the LOLWUT trim project. Would it supporting BT 4.0 make any difference, since the Wiimotes only support 2.0? 09-28-2024, 10:49 AM
I'm studying to be a computer / electrical engineer and I'm currently making my own version with all of the circuit protection and all that. It will be my midterm project so I'll try to make it as nice as possible. I'll either upload the plans here and GitHub or I can make a few if people are interested.
