Question
I can not get Bluetooth passthrough to work at all. I  was getting the error "Not supported" when I first tried. since then I followedthe guide. ran zadig as admin chose options selected list all  selected my Bluetooth device in the drop down box (Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Bluetooth 4.1) selected "libusbK (v3.0.7.0)" and replaced driver.  games will run now and I no longer get the error messege poping up. but still my wii mote will not work for some resson. lights are just flashing on it. iv also noticed that the Bluetooth icon is no longer visible in my notification tray and under devices I no longer have the turn on function for Bluetooth. Itt seems like since I replaced the driver with this program zadig its complelty disabled my Bluetooth altogether. im not sure whats going on but please can some one help me get this fixed. thanks. When you use Zadig, Windows won't "see" your BT Adapter anymore, just Dolphin. If you want to revert that, you just need to locate your BT Adapter on Device Manager and uninstall it (choosing to also delete the driver).

Now, about your Wiimote connection issue, you said you've successfully booted a game with BT Passthrough enabled, so that means Dolphin picked your BT Adapter correctly. Did you sync your Wiimotes while the game is running? It has to be full sync (with the red button at back, not the temporary sync with 1+2 buttons), and depending of your BT Adapter you'll have to do this every time you boot a Wii game, as very few BT Adapters other than a reall Wii BT Module modded to USB are capable of remembering pairings...

To add to mbc07's solid advice, before trying to sync the game, make sure you go to dolphin's settings screen and uncheck "Pause on Focus Lost". If the game is paused, it won't sync. While running a game (and not paused), alt+tab to the main dolphin screen, open the controller settings screen and press "Sync", then press the red button in side the battery compartment of your wii remote.

Do this with a game other than NSMBW or Skyward Sword as those two can be problematic with certain setups. Post back here if can't get it working.

hey been away for a bit since there was no reply. but I just came back now and seen your reply. thanks for that. to answer your question. I loaded the game then tried holding or pressing the red button on the back of the wii mote. and I tried pressing the snyc option on the dolphin settings..but nothing.. the lights will just constantly blink..and the mot will not connect to the emulator.. Before when I have tried using normal emulation method  pairing with computer and holding 1 and 2. the emulator picks up the mote it vibrats and light becomes solid... but this new Blue passthrough thing  is not working and I have yet to get it to work. not sure why.

Some bluetooth adapters just don't work, and it's rather luck of the draw if yours does. The passthrough works by handing your bluetooth adapter directly to the emulated system. If the emulated system doesn't play nicely with it, you're out of luck.

You probably just got unlucky. The only 100% reliable setup is soldering a USB-A cable and plug onto a bluetooth module taken from a Wii.

Uninstall everything you did with Zadig and/or libusbdk, reinstall your proper BT drivers, and just use our normal "real" wiimote configuration option and sync your controllers that way.

That's really too bad.  I was under the impression that most adapters would work, but only a very few had full functionality so it is strange that you would not see anything.  I assume that you see libusbk in device manager and that you are trying to sync with the sync button in the dolphin controller screen.

Worst case scenario, you could buy a cheap adapter from the list here, especially if you plan to play by yourself.  The most common big problem is the inability to reconnect multiple wiimotes.

I don't think so since its listed on the main wiki as one of the good ones that works. Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A  is the full name of the bt device. and that is the one listed under the main wiki as working Bluetooth adaptor for the emulator. so there must be more to it then that.

yea under device manager is libusbk USB device and under that is Qualcomm Atheros QCA61x4A Bluetooth 4.1 .there must be a way for me to get it working because its listed under the main wiki as limited functionality with dolphin..and that states  Partially compatible. Works well in most cases, but there may be some issues.
