Okey-dokey, so I'm totally stumped here. The error msgs below might as well be Egyptian hieroglyphs for all the meaning they hold for me. My ex went a little crazy when I dumped him and left me with a huge mess on my computer (for instance, I have 4TBs total storage space, when I finally got my hands on my computer again, I only had 51GBs of free space remaining) - one of the things affected was, unfortunately, Dolphin. It was running perfectly before, now....well, not so much.

It boots up fine, but when I try to play any game, these are the error messages I'm seeing, and in the order I am seeing them in:

Please tell me someone knows what the effing heck that nincompoop did, & that there's a way to fix it? He took off with all the save files, so I've already got to start all those games over again from scratch, please say it's not worse than that?

yikes.

I would just do a system restore, it looks like they messed up a lot. Some of those errors can be fixed by making sure your user owns the Dolphin Emulator folder in Documents.

Actually, I would reformat the entire thing. I wouldn't trust your system right now.

I would have said to copy any files you care about (like save files) to an external storage device (sd card/flash drive/NAS/external harddrive) and then reformat. After reformatting I would virus scan the external storage with any 3 AV programs you like/trust and only then would those files go back to where they belong.

If there is nothing you can not either
1. Get from somewhere else (like dolphin's install, or anything on steam\origin\gog\ect)
2. Have saved on a cloud or somewhere else and have not updated (if you happened to have a good backup not on the same computer)
3. Can not easily replace (I know making backup iso's of GC and Wii games are a pain but you really only have to do it once and a while)

If everything you care about are those type of things then just get rid of it all, it is not worth the risk unless it is irreplaceable.

Sounds like a permission issue as Helios said. But yes, I would just nuke the whole system and reinstall. You don't know what they did to your system.

So are you guys saying it's the actual game files? Because if that's all it is, that's no problem at all. I know where I got them from, I can always re-download them. Resetting the PC isn't an option at this moment - I do plan on doing exactly that as soon as possible, but right now I'd really just like to play some games to try and get back to normal, you know? So if I just delete all the game files, get fresh copies, do you think they'll play? It sounds like it's at least worth a shot. Wait - some of those files are ones I dl'd after he was gone...I wonder...hang on. Nope, even the new downloads won't play. So something is wrong with all things Dolphin in my computer, & basically, I won't be able to play on Dolphin till after the Reset. That sucks.
Thanks for your time, guys.

The two first error messages that you posted screenshots of aren't problems with game files, they're problems with writing to Dolphin's user directory (the one that's in the Documents folder). I'm not sure what the third error message is caused by, but I don't see any specific reason that it would be because of the game file.

Anyone else notice this?
