Hello everyone, i'd hope someone can enlight me with this problem since i looked everywhere on a workaround but nothing so far, so here it is:

What i need: A way to convert a save game file on a memory card (.RAW) of Pokemon Colosseum from EUR to USA since i need to switch game region versions on this save game in which i already finished it. Or a way to convert a .RAW file into a .GCI file so i can switch region version with another tool i found.

What happens is that i beated the game on a EUR version but now i have a USA version of it and i'd like to move my save game from that memory card to a USA memory card or convert it so i can continue and i only can make this convertion from my pc since i don't own a GCN or a Wii to test further.

The problem is that when i open the Dolphin memory card manager and try to open the memory card where the save is, it does not show any save games in it, it only shows a blank page, i tried with an older version (I'm using 4.0) and it was the same result, no saves, only a blank page, but when i try to load my game it works, so i'm sure they're inside of that memory card.

I'd apreciate any help with this since i've been looking all over and i've only found several tools to convert region .gci files but none of .RAW files.

Thanks! Big Grin

EDIT: So after a few minutes tweaking around i found the working memory card where the save is located so now i'm able to see it, the problem is that when i try to move it from MemoryCardA.EUR to MemoryCardA.USA Dolphin displays this message "Invalid Index". So i tried to copy it and it worked, but even so with the save file in the MemoryCardA.USA the game still says that there's no Save files created for it, any suggestions?

Converting a save game between regions does not always work, but you could give it a try with "GC Save File Convert 1.0" available here:

http://www.gc-forever.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=8

Dolphin will convert a RAW file to GCI.  In Dolphin's "Tools" menu, select "Memcard Manager (GC)".  Under Memory Card A, click the Browse button and select the RAW file.  Click the save game icon in the list that appears.  Now click the "<-Export GCI" option.  Select a folder and filename to save the GCI to.

Start up GC Save File Convert.  Press the "..." button and locate the GCI file that was exported.  Select USA.  Click "Convert It!".

Go back into Dolphin's Memcard Manager and now browse to MemoryCardA.EUR.raw.  Click "<-Import GCI" and select the GCI file that was converted.  Close the Memcard Manager.

In Dolphin, go to Options > Configure > GameCube and click the "..." button next to Memory Card.  Select MemoryCardA.EUR.raw.  Now start the game and hopefully the save file gets recognised.
