Just some small slowdowns now and there but fully playable. Only that map problem and some sound issues should be taken care of. Do you people also have that problem with sounds? When i start the game everything is ok, all sounds do well but after some time something happen. First i hear only background music and then i don't hear anything. I just save the game and restart dolphin and it is ok again for some time. Does anyone know what is the problem or is it normal with latest revisions? 09-24-2009, 07:52 PM

Quote:dont use zelda bloom hack, use bleach vs crusade. Pretty good tip, it does render the whole screen in full resolution. However, all the bloom effects go away, so the twilight world looks almost the same as the regular one, and some of the lighting is absent. Thanks regardless, though. Also, the sound has been a bit dodgy, as expected. At first the music just overpowered the sound effects, now the sound just cuts out entirely after a while. Lastly, has anyone gotten AA working with D3d9 and this game? It doesn't do anything for me. Superb
I've finished the game yesterday. I was quite scared when I heard the final boss battle was on the god damned Hyrule field But I had 30 FPS there so chill And yes, D3D plugin right now has AA broken, it was stated in one of the revisions. 09-29-2009, 08:14 AM
Alright, good to know, thanks. Sound issues aside, I'm now having a curious problem with Hyrule field. It used to go full speed with the bloom hack on, but now it chugs, and I have no idea why. Maybe the game just hates me.

Someone fixes the sound gradual loss issue in Zelda TP with DirectX and Bloom Hack please..
Can anyone tell me how to use the Dx9 plug in on dolphin? All I can choose is the openGL plug in
Edit: Nvm got it. A fix for that sound issue would be nice, years waiting to play this game, and when I finally got to get it at a decent framerate, another problem happens. Playing a zelda game without sound is a sin, so I will just play without the hack for now. 10-04-2009, 12:21 PM
Something weird, there are still speed decreases with the DX9 plugin and places such as Hyrule Field. I lose about 15 FPS in Hyrule Field with the DX9 plugin..
The weird part is that Gerudo Desert is full speed and it's about as large as Hyrule field is, but Hyrule Field has hefty framerate drops. So the size of Hyrule Field likely has nothing to do with the poor performance and the source of the problem could likely be attributed to some strange bug or other issue. |
