I recently purchased Wario World for the Nintendo GameCube off of an online retailer and it did not come with a PIN Code to register it. Was it supposed to? It came out in 2003, but in my Club Nintendo registered games section it says that I registered some games in 2003. So, it seems like it should have had a code in it.

Yes, I did purchase it new and it was wrapped in plastic. For the record, everything smelled new, too..

Mail the Nintendo support. They'll probably ask for some serial number or something.

Don't tell them it was an online purchase.

I'm getting many dark areas on the ground in this game. When you're far away from an area the color appears correct, but when you get closer the area gets completely dark. Some areas end up being dark no matter where you go. I've messed around with many of the plugin settings but nothing seems to fix the problem.

IMO this game is perfect from 4800 revision onwards. Played it nearly to the end for fun on 5102 and RC1. I also used the solution suggested above by topgun, disable fog and efb->tex

Yep, that fixed the problem. That was the only option I didn't try as it turns out.

i also noticed in r 5999 that wario's shadow or position doesnt match up.

It looks like wario is floating above everything.

I went into the first level and noticed the birds shadow was not under him.
I liked the part where it worked, except there was no such part.

Anyone else but me that have problems with this game?

Whenever I'm playing and move Wario it works perfect, but letting the controls go either a white or black background shows up with some strange music and only the hearts showing, though you can pause the game.
I don't know when this started but 2.0 didn't have this problem and played the game fine.

Any of the newer revisions should reveal this.

Using LLE and Direct3D9.

I have been testing OpenGL, Direct3D11 and HLE, same scenario all the time.
