I don't remember for sure if the Twilight Princess texture pack is one those texture packs, but it's worth a try. Updating to the newest development version will also give you performance improvements and bug fixes. 07-05-2015, 08:27 AM
Greetings all. I'm hoping someone will be able to tell me something about my issue. I'm having ridiculous slowdown. Constant slowdown at that. The game is running at 9 FPS when it had been running at a full 30. Once I left Ordon Village, it went to 15, then 9 once I hit Faron. Is it my hardware, despite the fact that it's not using even a third of my resources? I'm using a AMD FX-8120 8-core 3.1 Ghz processor and an AMD Radeon HD 7800 Series GPU. With the game running, it only takes up less than 25% of my CPU at it's peak. Do I need to do something else, or should I just give up on it? I'm using Dolphin v. 4.0-6891

If you haven't already done so, enable the Hyrule Field Speed Hack in the game's properties.

So I just downloaded this game because I do not want to pay upwards to 100 dollars on this. I managed to get the mini map to work. I am in Faron Woods and noticing a horrible frame rate drop. I know this game is touchy from what I looked through on this thread. I am not really great with computer knowledge ( I still don't know how I got the mini map to work)
I am using a HP Pavilion 15-P066US 15.6" Notebook PC. I would go into details about what the spec are but I don't know if I could give the right info. Any help is appreciated. Thank you 07-10-2015, 04:23 AM

Now if you only had a mod tag ;p. Thanks for the quote.
And please report the offending post in addition to quoting if there's none of us online. 07-10-2015, 06:15 AM
I knew we needed to quote to prevent stealth edits, but I forgot about the report button, since I've never had to use it before.

I like how the staff here is a lot faster to react when someone says they pirated a game than when someone asks for help with a problem. Is it so vital to ban people for pirating as to go so far as to have people quote their posts so they won't be able to edit it out? |
