No really old builds that run the game a lot better at the cost of accuracy?
Is it still playable and slowdown only occurs on the field?

On my system the game is totally playable (and has been for sometime). Late game Hyrule field (and ganon's tower) are the only place I get slowdowns.

Hey guys. I need some help with this. I have this weird graphics glitch in the top left corner of the screen, left half of Link's face. Also any suggestions as to how to make my graphics better than they are in the screenshot will be appreciated.
Currently running with: OpenGL backend Multiple of 640x528 Res AA: 16xQ CSAA Anisotropic filter: 16x Post-Processing: (off) EFB copy: unchecked (The bloom was unbearable) Per-pixel lighting: checked Force texture filtering: checked Widescreen: unchecked 08-04-2013, 02:14 AM
Left half of links face looks like bloom or perhaps light reflecting off links face because of the sun.
I use 3x IR, no AA 1920 x 1080 and mine looks fabulous. Also use DX9 to avoid any lens flaring issues. Did you read the wiki? Bloom Due to the low resolution bloom, a "ghost" image will appear around certain objects in areas with high amounts of bloom. There is no known solution. You may need to remove AA because it is known to cause lighting issues in some scenarios (once again, read the first post of this thread).

It doesn't mention anything about AA so I will try your settings out. I was able to get a higher FPS running the OpenGL than with Direct3D9. Also, running with the Direct3D9 backend, did not fix the blur. Thanks for the help though! Edit: Your settings fixed the blur. Thanks a stack. 08-04-2013, 04:33 AM
Ouch! I have a problem. When I access this area the game stops and gives me this message (by area I mean the top of Zoras Domain):
I've just finished the temple in the dessert and trying to get some red fish or reek?. If a save or savestate would help, please tell! Hardware: Laptop with Intel i5-3210M @2,50GHz with intel's HD4000 onboard grapich card and 6GB ram. Dolphin 3.5 with DX9 as backend and all settings untouched (no AA or IR) besides forcing dolphin to display 16:9. Game ID: GZ2E01 - NTSC. 08-04-2013, 06:23 AM
Always use the latest development version before reporting game issues. You can find those versions by clicking on the download button at the top of the forum and scrolling down a bit.

Sorry about that.
Tried latest build (3.5-1700) and got past that area, saved and when back to the official 3.5 version. I have to say that thing were like sirup with 3.5-1700 compared to 3.5 which hit 100% speed in all areas besides Hyrule Field. I also tried to recreate the error message with 3.5-1700 but it seems to be fixed. Thanks anyways! =) |
