Neither seem to work. I boot up the game, go in game and it obviously isnt 16:9. If i then enable the Widescreen Hack indeed it shows that it isnt 16:9 but then i have that "Disappearing objects" thing, so using that hack isnt really an option. 11-01-2014, 05:24 AM

Hey guys, I'm having an issue with freezing, I've checked online for 2 days now. The issue is not like most people "black screen" my issue is the game just literally stops, like a screenshot.
This has happened during cut scenes and during gameplay. Is there any option making this happen? I'm using Dolphin 4.0-4488. 12-08-2014, 12:06 AM

Set framelimit to auto, wind waker is not a 60 fps game. Also since 4.0-4488 removed the DSP LLE on separate thread option, try with hle (normally lle shouldn't be the problem, but just in case it is due to that commit). Don't forget to change it in game properties too when testing.

It was on auto before and still froze. Same as the hle, as these are the default settings, I searched online and changed them based on others suggestions.
Is the game just totally stopping a common thing? Because all the issues I've seen online are about people saying they get a black screen. Mine just stops. No black screen. No crash to desktop, just plain freezes.
I've changed the internal resolution down to x2 and have not had a freeze yet, but I've not played for much more than 30 min 3 separate times, If I get a freeze on x2 resolution I will post again.
EDIT: I've played for around an hour now with no freezing, The change seems to be the internal resolution. Though I would of thought a gtx 580 could handle windwaker at x4 resolution? |
