So, those are really just for the pictobox? Sweet, I'm not missing anything by turning them off.

Then you can enable fast depth calculation and EFB to Texture. I only say this because I haven't personally noticed the negative effects of EFB to Texture in this game, and don't need to use the pictobox (which hangs the game on use with fast depth calculation). Unfortunately, I'm not okay without the pictobox. This has been extremely frustrating, mostly because on my PC I'm able to get _most_ of the game to look so _damn good._ But then it has glitches and whatnot, some of them that really make it unplayable (like the most recent one, which drops fps). Really depressing. I guess I'm going to have to go back to playing it on my GC until the next stable release comes out (and hopefully fixes it), or I get rich enough to justify spending $300 on the crappy tablet Wii. I don't want to sound unappreciative. You guys have been super helpful. These forums and the contributors are amazing, and I really, really respect those helping develop Dolphin. Much luck, prayers, and well wishes for all of you and your families. This is really cool stuff that you're all doing.
Just turn on EFB2Ram before you take pictures? Then you can immediately turn it back off and it should be fine.

Hello all I really need help I have a computer I highly believe can handle this, but it honestly cannot it is a Windows 8 HP AMD A8-6500 with Radeon 8570D HD Graphics Card 3.50GHz, 8 GBC RAM 7.19GB usable, 64 - bit x64 processor. Please help me understand as to why I can't even play this game on the lowest settings with a computer that was 600 dollars and can play many many other games on high settings easily.
@kingsmen5: I believe your question got answered before. It is because AMD cpus are low end chips compared to Intel. I recommend either selling your current rig or upgrading. Dolphin requires a lot more cpu power to run, especially emulation.

I think I should insert that my CPU is weaker than his and I have no issue with my ridiculous settings.
You need to force-disable EFB to RAM and Fast Depth Calculation in order to play Wind Waker at acceptable speeds on that computer. Of course, this will break the pictobox completely, along with some effects. If you accept that you cannot do the pictobox quest, certain transparency effects will be rendered slightly off, and waves won't look completely right, then go to Sys/gamesettings/GLZE01 and remove "EFBToTextureEnable = False" and "FastDepthEnable = False".

That looks like a game bug to me. Unfortunately, changing dolphin versions will not fix game bugs.
